MASCAC Playoffs:  Women set to host Framingham, while Men travel to Salem on Tuesday

North Adams, MA- The MCLA basketball teams have earned spots into the MASCAC postseason tournament.  The women will host Framingham on Tuesday as the #4 seed, while the Men earned a #6 seed and travel to Salem State Tuesday.

The Womens basketball team finished the regular season with a program record 15 wins and 9 losses.  The ended the MASCAC schedule at 4-8, earning the fourth seed through the conference tie breaker policy.  They will play host to the Framingham State College Rams on Tuesday night at 7pm. 

The two teams split their regular season meetings, each prevailing on their home court.  Both teams won comfortably in those contests.

2010 MASCAC Women's Basketball Bracket

The MCLA Men's Basketball team has earned their first playoff berth since the 1999-2000 season.  MCLA has earned the #6 seed and will travel to face third seeded Salem State on Tuesday at 7pm. 

The Vikings swept the season series, winning at home 90-87 and on the road 97-86.  The winner will move on to face the #2 seed, Framingham State College.
