Greenberg collects second Player of the Week honor
North Adams, MA- MCLA junior forward Jon Greenberg (Antwerp, Belgium) collected his second MASCAC player of the week honor as announced today by the conference. Greenberg averaged 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks as the Trailblazers went 1-1 on the week.
Greenberg tallied 19 points and 17 boards in a road win at Westfield State on Tuesday. He followed that with a 23 point, 13 rebound effort against Framingham State on Saturday.
Greenberg leads the conference in rebounding, collecting almost 12 per game. He is fourth in the league in scoring at just over 17 ppg. He has notched 16 double doubles on the season for the Trailblazers.
His efforts have kept MCLA in the hunt for a MASCAC playoff berth with two games conference games remaining.
Greenberg and the Trailblazers host Fitchburg Tuesday, before wrapping up the regular season on the road at Bridgewater State.
