Second Seeded MCLA Men set to host third seeded Bridgewater

North Adams, MA- The MCLA Trailblazer Men's Basketball team will host the semifinal round of the 2011 MASCAC Basketball tournament on Thursday night at 7pm.  MCLA will face Bridgewater State.  The two teams split the regular season series with each team winning on the road.

MCLA traveled to Bridgewater back in January and came away with a hard fought 78-77 victory.  Jon Greenberg's free throw with a few seconds remaining was the difference.  Last Saturday, Bridgewater defeated MCLA in the season finale 79-73 spoiling senior day.

The Trailblazers are led by first team all conference selection Jon Greenberg.  He leads the team in scoring and rebounding.  Joining him is second team all conference selection Chris Harris.  Harris is the second leading scorer for the Trailblazers.

The Bears are led by first team selection Nicholas Motta.  Motta was last season's MASCAC player of the year.  Joining Motta is Judah Jackson.  Jackson did not play in the Bears loss to MCLA, while he did compete in the season finale.

The winner will move on to the finals on Saturday against the winner of the other semifinal matchup between Salem and Westfield.
