Brown is repeat selection as MASCAC Player of the Week

North Adams, MA- MCLA senior forward Jamal Brown has been tabbed the MASCAC Player of the week following his lone performance against Bridgewater State on Tuesday. Brown is a repeat selection as player of the week having won the honor a week ago. This time he shared the honor with Justin Nieves of Salem State.
In the Trailblazers lone game this week, Brown came up big with a 26 point, 10 rebound effort in the key victory over the Bears. He shot 10-15 from the floor, including the tying basket as time wound down in regulation. His recent play has vaulted him to lead the Trailblazers in scoring.
Brown has been in double figures in his last five outings, including three straight 20 plus point performances. He has averaged 21 ppg in the span as MCLA has gone 4-1 in that stretch.
Brown and the Trailblazers will look to continue to ride the momentum as they host Nieves and Salem State looking to avoid an early season defeat on Tuesday night at home. Tip off is set for 7:30pm.
