Isshiah Coleman hits 16 points in win over Sage

North Adams, MA-  The MCLA Trailblazers put up 75 points to outscore Sage by 5.  At the end of the first half, MCLA would lead Sage with a score of 44-35 while both teams had 20 rebounds.   Sage pressured in the second half, cutting the lead at some parts to within 2.  Sage would not be able to recover in the last minutes of the game.  

In the win, MCLA had four players hit double digit points and two players with over ten rebounds.  Strong on the court, MLCA's bench stepped up with 25 points in the game while Sage's bench would only contribute 8. MCLA would outshoot Sage with a  42-35 field goal precentage.

Dakari Hannah-Wornum would collect 14 rebounds for the trailblazers while putting up 7 points. Careem Kirksey and Isshiah Coleman would add to that point total.  Kirksey  put up 15 points with 2 rebounds, while Coleman tacked on 16 points with 11 rebounds.  Marcus Patterson for Sage led his team putting up 20 points with 10 rebounds.  Travis Gill would also contribute 17 points and add another 10 rebounds for the Gaters.

With the MCLA win over Sage, the Trailblazers record improves to 4-7 while Sage falls to 7-2 on the season.

MLCA is back in action this Wednesday January 6th vs. Worcester State at Clark University.
