Yearsley named to MASCAC All-Conference First Team

2022-23 Men's Basketball All-Conference Team - MASCAC

North Adams, MA—MCLA graduate guard Noah Yearsley has been named to the 2022-2023 MASCAC All-Conference First Team. The former Rookie of the Year has been named to the Second Team in each of his previous three seasons as a Trailblazer.

Worcester State's Aaron Nkrumah was selected as the Player of the Year while Bridgewater State teammates Emerson Halbleib and Dante Kikuba were tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Worcester State's Tyler Hundley was chosen as Coach of the Year.

Yearsley appeared in 18 games this season leading the conference in scoring at 20.2 points per game and finished second in blocked shots averaging 2.1 per game.

The standout guard scored his 1,000th point in MCLA's opening game this season and he finished with 1,353 career points placing him 8th all-time in program history. Yearsley also finished his career 3rd in made 3-point field goals with 202 and 6th in blocks with 99.  

Joining Yearsley, Nkrumah and Halbleib on the First Team were Westfield State's JT Thompson and Brendan Hamilton.

Worcester State's Erik Bjorn and Ryan Rubenskas, Salem State's Conner Byrne and Chris MacDonald, as well as Framingham State's Juran Ligonde were selected to the Second Team.
