East Longmeadow, MA- The MCLA Golf team opened play this afternoon at the Elms College invitational hosted at Elmcrest Country club in East Longmeadow.  After day one, the Trailblazers are in 19th place.  

Nick Young paced MCLA with an 82 and sits in 48th place overall.  Cooper Gavin was next best with an 87 for the Trailblazers.  

Occidental College is leading the team competition with a score of 297.  Colton Barres shot a two over par 72 and is leading the individual competition.

MCLA will tee off tomorrow in round two looking to climb the leaderboard.
