Chatham, MA- The MCLA Golf team opened up play in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association championships held at the Captains Club Golf course on Cape Cod.  The Trailblazers are in 22nd place as they head into the final round tomorrow.

Nick Young paced MCLA with an 82 in the opening round which places him in a tie for 60th.  Cooper Gavin had a solid start to the two day event shooting an 86.

Zach Temple of Castleton University leads the tournament with a two under par score of 70.

Babson College leads the event after carding a score of 305 while Rhode Island College is second with a total of 307.

The final round is set for tomorrow morning and will conclude the fall slate for MCLA.
