WESTFIELD, Mass.— Led by medalist Mat Gover's one-over par 72, the MCLA Golf team topped Westfield State this afternoon in a dual match held at the Tekoa Country Club. The Trailblazers finished eight strokes better than the host Owls, 331-339.

The win is Gover's second at Tekoa Country Club this season as the reigning MASCAC Golfer and Rookie of the Year also shot a 72 back in September to claim the Brett Williamson Invitational individual title.

MCLA had strong performances by Alex Ferris (+14, 85), Cody White (+15, 86), Paul Roeder (+17, 88) and Easton Moore (+18, 89) to help secure the team win.

Westfield State's Dominic Terzi (+8, 79) and Jack Corsi (+9, 80) led the Owls.

MCLA is back in action tomorrow in Worcester State's Rich Korzek Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament at the Blackstone Country Club in Sutton.
