PLYMOUTH, N.H.— The MCLA Men's Ice Hockey team took to the road for a MASCAC matchup at Plymouth State University this evening. It was a tough night for the Trailblazers as they fell to the MASCAC-leading Panthers 10-2. A pair of Plymouth State players finished with hat tricks, and six different players scored goals. For MCLA, goals were scored by Cody White and Charlie Addesa.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Plymouth State scored three goals in the first period and added two more in the second period before Cody White (at 19:03, assisted by Spencer Craig and Nathan Walerowicz) scored for the first for MCLA. The Panthers then added two more goals in the final minute of the period to take a 7-1 lead into the second intermission.
  • Plymouth State continued scoring into the third period, with Dante Moretti and Connor Tait completing hat tricks. After assisting on two earlier goals, Nick Poirier scored one of his own and finished the game with three points.
  • Despite the large deficit, the Trailblazers were not deterred, and Charlie Addesa (16:29, Shane Green, and Easton Moore) scored a power-play goal for the visitors to set the final score.
