Men’s Lacrosse drops 10-4 road NAC decision to SUNY Delhi

SUNY DELHI, N.Y.—The MCLA Men's Lacrosse team lost 10-4 to SUNY Delhi this afternoon in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. With the win the Broncos improve to 5-7 (4-1 NAC) while the Trailblazers fall to 5-5 (1-3 NAC).

DeClan McEachen would score with just under three minutes left in the first quarter and Boden Dock would find the back of the net with just five seconds left to put MCLA up 2-0 after one.

Delhi goals in the first and last minutes of the second quarter would bookend a pair by Nathan Haley making it 4-2 MCLA at the half.

The Broncos would own the only goal in the third quarter but dominate in the fourth outscoring the Trailblazers 7-0 to earn an important NAC win, 10-4.

Delhi goalkeeper Samuel Steng (W, 4-7) would make two stops in the game while MCLA's John Hankel (L, 5-4) made 23 saves but took the loss in net.

League play will resume for both teams next weekend when SUNY Delhi hosts Northern Vermont-Lyndon on Friday at 7pm and MCLA travels to SUNY Canton on Saturday for a 1pm face-off.
