MCLA offense comes alive, beat visiting Fighting Tigers 7-0
North Adams, MA- The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (4-6) played host to the Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill (3-2-7) this afternoon at Ron Shewcraft field. The Trailblazers won the non-conference match-up 7-0.
Seven different players scored for the Trailblazers. Sophomore Luke Fisher recorded two assists in the first 45 minutes of play.
Drew Webster put the Trailblazers on the board first in the 11th minute off a free kick rebound. Trailblazer players Jake McCall, Lucas Prickett, Ben Souza, Fisher, Joesph Mecca and Sean Kenney also scored.
Goalie Matt Robinson earned his first win in net saving one shot, while his teammates kept visiting goalie Tucker Lewis busy with 26 shots.
The Trailblazers return to action Saturday on the road versus conference opponent Fitchburg State kick off scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
