Men's Tennis drops lone fall match to Western New England 9-0
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Men's Tennis program held their lone fall match yesterday against Western New England. The Trailblazers dropped the match 9-0 in what was the season opener for both programs.
Andres Otero, Alex Sause, and Peter LeFrancois all recorded a pair of points for the Golden Bears. Otero and Sause combined to defeat the top MCLA duo of Taylor Krowitz and Robert Wabshinak 8-4 in doubles, while both Otero and Sause cruised in their respective singles matches.
LeFrancois also doubled up, besting Mitch Mabardy 6-0, 6-0 in the third singles slot, while teaming with John Mindek to earn a convincing 8-1 win in the number two doubles slot.
The Trailblazers will compete primarily in the spring as they gear up for NAC play.
