Men's Cross Country 28th at James Early invite at Westfield State
Westfield, MA- The MCLA men's cross country team placed 28th in the 17th Annual James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park on the campus of Westfield State University this morning..
It was the largest ever field for the annual invitational as Westfield is also hosting the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Nov. 10.
Middlebury College ran away from the field of 40 men's teams and 430 runners by scoring 23 points. Middlebury was led by senior Jack Davies, who crossed the finish line first in 25:40.96 on the 8,000 meters course.
Amherst was second with 111 points, followed by Connecticut College (140), WPI (154), Coast Guard (155), Bridgewater (182) and Westfield (242).
Anthony Cancilla finished 91st for MCLA, while Peter Mayotte was the next finisher for the Trailblazers.
