Men's Cross Country 6th at MASCAC Championships
2013 MASCAC Men's Cross Country Championships
Portland, ME- The MCLA Men's Cross Country team finished sixth this afternoon in the MASCAC Championships held at the University of Southern Maine. Anthony Cancilla continued his solid season finishing in 17th place. Westfield State took home the team title.
Cancilla finished the race in 28:40. The finish was his best in the MASCAC championships for his career. Peter Mayotte also had a good race finishing in 20th place with a time of 29:03. Travis Smith was in 32nd, while Brendan Peltier finished in 38th place.
Tim Shea of Westfield State took home the individual title covering the distance in 26:14.
Fitchburg State was second followed by Bridgewater State, Worcester State, and Mass. Maritime. Salem State and Framingham State were seventh and eighth respectively.
