Chicopee, MA- The MCLA Men's Cross Country team finished fifth at the Elms Invitational held yesterday in Chicopee.  The Trailblazers were paced by senior Brendan Peltier's 21st place finish.  Trinity (CT) took home team honors while Mass. Maritime was second.

Brayden Beardsley of Trinity took the top individual spot with a time of 27:29 in the 8K race.

Peltier paced the Trailblazers with a time of 31:43.  He was followed across the line by Drew Weisse, who covered the distance in 32:24.  His time was good enough for 24th place.  

The Trailblazers will run again next weekend at the Keene State Invitational.
