Babineau paces Men’s Cross-Country at WNE Golden Bear Invitational

Springfield, MA- The MCLA Men's Cross-Country team competed this morning at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Western New England University.
Maine Maritime would take the team title with an 8k total time of 2:19:35 good for 42 points. SUNY Cobleskill would place second with a total time of 2:20:15 and 45 points while Nichols College finished third with a total time 0f 2:24:53 and 77 points. MCLA would finish in 9th place.
SUNY Cobleskill junior Nick Logan won the individual title with a time of 26:21.4. Nichols senior Shawn Tobin (26:59.8) and SUNY Cobleskill freshman Jack Gemmett (27:09.6) would round out the top three. MCLA junior David Babineau would lead the way for the Trailblazers with a time 31:00.1.
MCLA wraps up its season in two weeks on Saturday, October 29th at the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park.
