Men's Cross-Country Competes at Panther Invitational
ALTAMONT, New York- The MCLA Men's Cross-Country team and first year head coach David Bostick kicked off their 2023 season Saturday at the Panther Invitational hosted by the Albany College of Pharmacy and Sciences at Indian Ladder Farms.
Word of Life took the top spot in the team competition with a combined time of 99:35.3. The College of Saint Rose finished in second place just over two minutes behind. Albany College of Pharmacy and MCLA finished in third and fourth place respectively.
College of Saint Rose junior Matthew Waruch captured the individual title besting the nearest competitor in the 5k race by nearly a minute. Robbie Wiltsie was the top runner for MCLA posting a time of 21.20.3 which placed him 13th overall.
MCLA's next event will be at the New Paltz Invitational hosted by SUNY New Paltz on September 15th.
