2019 Softball Schedule

North Adams, MA- The MCLA Softball program has released their 2019 schedule.  The Trailblazers will play their traditional 40 game regular season schedule that will begin with their annual trip to the sunshine state.  MCLA will open play in Clermont, Florida as part of the PFX Spring Games.

The Trailblazers will open with ten games down south.  MCLA will open their season against Mount Union and Plattsburgh on March 15th.  They continue the next day with a twinbill against Simpson and Juniata before taking a day off.  Up next is a pair of games against Lawrence and Loras on the 18th before another off day.  The Trailblazers round out the trip with contests against St. Lawrence (3/20), Wesleyan (3/20), Hamilton (3/21), and Wisconsin Superior (3/21).

The northern slate begins right away with a trip to challenge Albertus Magnus on the 23rd and Rhode Island College on the 24th.  MCLA actually opens with ten straight on the road up north and they continue play with matchups against Bay Path (3/26), Skidmore (3/28), and Framingham State (3/30).  The matchup with the Rams is the first MASCAC game of the season.

Turning the page to April, MCLA will open at home against SVC on the 2nd.  Then, the Trailblazers embark on another road trip with a non league tilt against Lasell on the 4th before successive MASCAC games against Fitchburg State and Westfield State on the 6th and 9th respectively.  A home twinbill with Mass. Maritime awaits on the 13th before MCLA travels to Bridgewater State on Patriots Day on the 15th.

The home stretch will feature games against some tough competition.  MCLA heads to Union (NY) on the 18th before hosting Worcester State on the 19th.  A road game at Sage awaits on the 24th before MCLA closes out the regular season with a Senior Day matchup against Salem State on the 27th.

All games are doubleheaders with the exception of the Florida Trip contests.
