Holliday tabbed MASCAC player of the week in Softball

North Adams, MA- MCLA senior Kaylyn Holliday was selected as the MASCAC player of the week in Softball after the Trailblazers wrapped up their annual spring break.  Holliday batted .500 on the week as she earned the honor for the first time this season.

She was joined on the weekly release by Emma Campbell and Olivia Pietersen who were named the conferences Pitcher and Rookie of the week.

Holliday rebounded from a sluggish start to the southern trip by batting .500 (11-22) over nine games.  She collected five RBI's and scored a run during this stretch.  The right handed hitter reached base in all nine games for MCLA.

She went 5-7 in a twinbill on Monday against St. Lawrence and Wesleyan, including doubles in both games.  She would wrap up the week by going 3-6 in a pair of games against Albertus Magnus and then 1-1 with a homer against Rhode Island College.

Holliday and the Trailblazers are back in action tomorrow as they are scheduled to face Bay Path at 3pm.
