Durivage named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
North Adams, MA- Trailblazer women's basketball player Courtney Durivage was named the MASCAC rookie of the week following her performances against NYU and Southern Vermont. The honor was announced by the conference offices this evening.
Durivage is the latest Trailblazer to garner such honors. She joins teammates Ashley Clawson, Brayleigh Hanlon, and Courtney McLaughlin as recipients of the weekly award. An MCLA player has earned the award six of seven weeks.
Durivage averaged 11.5 points per game as she tallied 13 points in a loss to NYU while adding 10 more in a win over Southern Vermont. The guard from Wynantskill, NY shot a solid 9-17 from the floor and was perfect from the free throw line. Durivage also added ten boards on the week, including seven on the offensive side.
Her production off the bench will be key as MCLA opens MASCAC play this week against Bridgewater State on Thursday night.
