The Trailblazers would trim the lead to just three points at 32-29 out of the locker room, however WConn responded with an 8-0 spurt to grab control.  The lead would stay in double figures the rest of the way and grow to as many as 24 late in the half before settling on the final score.

Stolle was 8-13 from the floor and 5-6 from the free throw line in the win.  Maggie Eberhardt notched 12 points off the bench, while Sciarra Brandt added 11 points and 15 rebounds.  The Colonials owned a 48-40 edge off the glass.
