Wurmser earns ECHA Rookie of the Week

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— First-year forward Belle Wurmser (Point Pleasant Boro, NJ / Princeton Tiger Lillies) has been named the ECHA Rookie of the Week. Worcester State's Cassidhe Wozniak (Turners Falls, Mass./WC Swans) and Anna Maria College's Sam Dahill (Littleton, MA / Assabet Valley) were named the Player of the Week and Goaltender of the Week, respectively.

Wurmser picked up Rookie of the Week honors as she recorded one goal and added an assist in the Trailblazers' 4-1 victory over Hilbert College on Friday night in New York. Wurmser and the Trailblazers are back in action tonight when they travel down Route 2 to Williams College for a game at the Lansing Chapman Rink. The puck drops at 6 PM.
