Women's Lacrosse wraps up season with loss at Bridgewater State

Bridgewater, MA- The MCLA Women's Lacrosse team fell to Bridgewater State 17-2 this evening in MASCAC action.  The Trailblazers finish the season at 1-11 overall and were 0-7 in the conference.  The Bears improve to 12-4 and will finish up at 6-1 in the conference.

Bridgewater left little doubt in this one as they led 10-0 at the half.  Elizabeth Ettridge scored three times in the opening half of play to pace the Bears.  In total, eight different Bears tallied a goal in the first half.

BSU continued the barrage in the second half as Ettridge would find the net again.  She would end with four goals and three assists to lead all scorers.  Madison Seeger collected three goals for BSU in the win.

Hayley Barner earned the win in goal for the Bears stopping six shots.

MCLA's Zoe Elwell took the loss stopping 13 shots in the contest.  Sarah Tomkiewicz and Kim Granito scored the only goals for the Trailblazers.

The game marked the final one in a Trailblazer uniform for Elwell, Brianna Morris, and Ciera Dowling.
