Women's Lacrosse 2022 schedule set, Trailblazers open with three straight at Shewcraft Field

2022 Women's Lacrosse Schedule

North Adams, MA-- The MCLA Women's Lacrosse program hasn't seen the field since the 2019 regular season finale due to the pandemic.  The Trailblazers have announced their full schedule for the 2022 season which will feature 14 contests, seven of which will be contested at Shewcraft Field.  The Trailblazers will open their season with three straight home tilts.

Starting off the home slate on March 1st is a date with Mount Holyoke College.  The modest three game homestand will continue with Elms coming to town on March 5th and the Trailblazers will close the homestand on the 10th against Anna Maria.  

MCLA will play their next five games all on the road.  The first three will happen over Spring Break.  A road trip to Nichols on March 14th kicks things off followed by a long trip to SUNY Purchase on the 17th.  MCLA wraps up the spring break contests with a road matchup with NVU-Lyndon.  After six days off, MCLA continues their road trip at Sage on March 26th and then begins MASCAC play on April 2nd at Worcester State.

The match with the Lancers begins the home stretch for MCLA with the remaining games all versus conference opponents.  MCLA returns home on April 9th to battle the Framingham State Rams and then a week later heads to Mass. Maritime.  The Trailblazers play three of their final four games at home as they welcome Westfield State (April 19) and Bridgewater State (April 22) before heading to Fitchburg State on April 26th.  

Senior Day and the regular season finale are set for Saturday, April 30th when MCLA hosts Salem State.  The following week would represent the MASCAC Playoffs.
