Women's Lacrosse beaten at Mass. Maritime

Buzzards Bay, MA-- Mass. Maritime's Alyssa DiScipio scored four goals and added 8 assists as the Buccaneers rolled to a 22-0 shutout over the MCLA Trailblazers this evening at Clean Harbors Stadium.  Mass. Maritime is now 9-4 overall and more importantly 2-1 in the MASCAC.  MCLA is now 1-7 on the season and 0-3 in league play.

MMA tallied nine times in the opener quarter to take control of this one.  They would tack on six more goals in the second quarter to increase the margin to 15-0 at halftime and never looked back.

Maritime's Cassie Llewellyn and Nora McLaughlin led all players with five goals on the night.  McLaughlin chipped in with two assists for a seven point night.  Allie Dickinson added three goals and three assists for the Bucs as well.  Kylie Maher earned the win in goal for the Bucs.

The Trailblazers were outshot 29-4 in the contest.

MCLA is back in action at home on Tuesday night when they take on Westfield State at 5pm.
