NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Sophomore attacker Summer Nichols scored eight times tying the program record for most goals in a game to lead the MCLA Women's Lacrosse team to a convincing 20-2 nonconference win over Northern Vermont-Lyndon tonight at Shewcraft Field. MCLA would pull away in the second outscoring Lyndon 8-1 as Graham, Reyes and Nichols would each score twice with Skyelyn Haynes (2 goals, 2 assists) and Rylie Bates, who scored her first career goal, finding the back of the net as well. Maachah Krull would score late in the half for the Hornets to make it 12-2 at the half.

The Trailblazers would shut out the visitors in the second half and register the final eight goals of the game with two in the third quarter and six in the fourth to earn their second win of the season, 20-2.
