Women's Soccer program earns United Soccer "Team Academic Award" for 17-18 season
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Women's Soccer program was once again recognized by United Soccer as recipients of the 2017-18 Team Academic Award. The award is given annually to all programs whose Grade Point Average (GPA) is greater than 3.0. The Trailblazers ended the academic year at 3.18.
A total of 782 soccer teams (293 men, 489 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year.
Of that total, 198 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
MCLA was the only conference women's program honored by the organization.
