Volleyball drops a pair of matches at Keuka Tournament
Keuka, NY- The MCLA Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches this afternoon on the final day of the Keuka College tournament. The Trailblazers fell to Keuka 3-0 in the opener, before posting an identical result against Alfred State in the afternoon.
MCLA dropped the opening match at Keuka by scores of 25-8, 25-15, and 25-17 to host Keuka. The Trailblazers were paced by Julia Christian and Darien Quick, who each recorded a team best four kills. Jackie Paluilis and Amanda Fleming added nine digs apiece in the setback.
In the nightcap, the Trailblazers fell in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-13. Rachel Mills had 14 digs for MCLA, while Christian added three more kills on the night.
MCLA will be in action on Tuesday night when they face Castleton in their 2013 home opener
