MCLA drops home opener

North Adams, MA- The Trailblazers dropped to 3-4 on the season losing their home opener to visiting Mt. Holyoke.

Mt. Holyoke took a 2-0 advantage winning games one and two; 25-12, 25-16 before MCLA came back and won game three 26-24.

The Trailblazers trailed in game 3 18-11 but came back to win. Courtney Parent served her team to victory and force a game 4.

Mt. Holyoke then came back to win game four and gave them the victory over the Trailblazers.

Mt. Holyoke was led by Martina Kneifel who had 18 kills and 20 digs while collecting 1 ace.

The Trailblazers were led by Rachel Mills. The freshman collected 8 kills on the offensive side of the net. Defensively, Kendra Hobbs and Jackie Paluilis both recorded 28 digs.
