MCLA Volleyball falls to Keystone in Morrisville tournament, ends day at 1-1

Morrisville, NY- The MCLA Volleyball team dropped the second game of the Morrisville tournament by falling to Keystone 3-1.  The Trailblazers earlier defeated the hosts to begin the day as they are now 1-2 on the season.

MCLA kept their solid play going from this morning in winning the opening set 25-22, however Keystone would take the next three games to close out the match by identical 25-22 scores.

Transfer Allison Clark paced the Trailblazer attack with 13 kills and 18 digs.  Margaret Allen continued her strong play from this morning by collecting 12 kills.  Chanielle Enomoto had a team best 25 digs, while Courtney Parent tallied 19 assists and Beatrice Lechler added 15.

Keystone was led by Hannah Zuchowski's match best 19 kills on 42 attacks.  Shatia Silas added 10 kills in the win.  Pamela Heitman notched a game high 40 digs, while Shaylah Ware and Sydney Binkley added 16 and 15 respectively.  Binkley added a team best 27 assists, while Carol Mosier had 25.

MCLA is back in action tomorrow as they continue the tournament play.
