Trailblazers Keep on Winning

North Adams, MA- The Trailblazers have now won 11 straight as they disposed of Mass. Maritime and Bay Path today at the Amsler center and now stand at 12-3 and 2-0 in the MASCAC.

The Trailblazers weren't really tested all day as they won both matches by a 3-0 score. MCLA cruised versus Mass. Maritime with Allison Clark once again leading the way with 14 kills; Clark was supported at the net by Margaret Allen who added 6 kills. 

Tayler Wiese had a season-high 11 assists and Courtney Parent chipped in with 7. The Trailblazers defense was led by Angelica Perfido with 17 digs.

The Trailblazers won game one by a score of 25-14 and completed the sweep 25-15 and 25-9 in the final game.

The Buccaneers were led by Charleen Klangos who had 4 kills and 8 digs in the defeat. Emma Ethier had 5 assists.

The Trailblazers won game two handidly as well 25-17, 25-14 and 25-17.

Clark added 12 more kills and Rachel Mills had 5. Chanielle Enomoto, Rebecca Godbout and Parent combined for 44 digs in the second game of the afternoon. Beatrice Lechler and Parent had 9 assists each. 

Bay Path had three players with 5 or more kills, paced by Lauren Vallee with 6. Lexi Cears had a game-high 14 assists and Jo Nazario and Vallee combined for 28 digs.

Bay Path defeated Mass. Maritime in the middle game of the day by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-9 and 25-10). Vallee led the Wildcats with 9 kills and Jennifer Pham had 7.

Klangos had 4 kills and 6 digs for Mass. Maritime.

Maritime falls 1-10 and 0-2 in conference, while Bay Path ends the day at 5-5.

Mass. Maritime will play Framingham State next on Wednesday at 7:00 PM and Bay Path will be at Curry on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

The Trailblazers will look to extend their winning streak to twelve when they host Anna Maria Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.
