Brown chosen as MASCAC Rookie of the Week

North Adams, MA- First year outside hitter Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA) has been selected as the Massachusetts College State Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Week.

Brown averaged 15.25 kills, seven kills with two solo blocks in a 2-2 week for the Trailblazers. The first year also had 11 kills and 19 digs with a .267 hitting percentage in a 3-1 win over Framingham State. Brown also added 15 kills and 30 digs in the doubleheader setback to Skidmore College.

The Trailblazers swept the MASCAC awards this week as Brown joined sophomore teammate Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) who was chosen at the MASCAC Player of the Week.

Brown and the Trailblazers next match will be this Wednesday as they host Albertus Magnus at 6pm.
