Garber selected as MASCAC Player of the Week
North Adams, MA- Sophomore Right Side Hitter Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) has been selected as the Massachusetts College State Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Garber averaged 13.5 kills, 14.75 digs, 2.5 aces with five blocks in a 2-2 week for the Trailblazers. Last season's Rookie of the Year finished with 18 kills, 17 digs, three aces with a .302 hitting percentage in the 3-1 win over Framingham State. She also had 15 kills, 13 digs and three aces in the 3-0 win over Fitchburg State. Garber closed out the week with 21 kills, 29 digs, three blocks and four aces in the doubleheader setback to Skidmore College.
The Trailblazers swept the MASCAC awards this week as Garber joined first year teammate who was chosen at the MASCAC Rookie of the Week.
Garber and the Trailblazers next match will be this Wednesday as they host Albertus Magnus at 6pm.
