Badio Chosen as MASCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) senior middle hitter Anais Badio (Las Vegas, NV) was named as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player of Week earlier today.
Badio had 23 kills with a hitting percentage of .465, and an assist leading MCLA to two sweeps of MASCAC rivals Framingham State and Salem State last week. The senior middle hitter had 11 kills with a .455 hitting percentage and an assist in Tuesday's three set win over the Rams and 12 kills and hitting percentage of .476 in Saturday's straight set victory over the Vikings.
Badio and the Trailblazers travel to Bridgewater State this Wednesday for a 6pm MASCAC matchup with the Bears at the Adrian Tinsley Center.
