Women’s Cross Country competes at James Earley Invitational
James Earley Invitational-Women's 5k Results
Westfield, MA- The MCLA Women's Cross-Country team competed at the James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park hosted by Westfield State University.
Smith College would take the team competition earning 45 points with a combined time of 1:36:30.11. RPI would place second with 122 points and a combined time of 1:39:05.41 while host Westfield State would finish third with 141 points and a total time of 1:40:22.35. MCLA would finish 24th.
Smith College's sophomore Anna Louise-Wildes won the individual race with a time of 18:49.78 edging out Utica first year Gianna Welker (19:00.21) and Roger Williams junior Caitlin Boufford (19:02.09.
MCLA's first year Kristie Zator (Windham, CT) would lead the way for the Trailblazers with a time of 24:12:.89.
MCLA will run again next Saturday at 10:30am at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Western New England University in Springfield.
