Women’s Cross Country concludes its season at MASCAC Championships
2022 Women's Cross-Country MASCAC Championship Results
Westfield, MA- The MCLA Women's Cross-Country team concluded its 2022 season this morning as it participated in the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park.
The host Owls would take home the team title running a combined 5k time of 1:35:52.14 and 31 points. With a time of 1:41:95 and 63 points Fitchburg State would finish second, while Bridgewater State (1:42:12.14 / 68 points) would finish third. MCLA finished 7th.
Fitchburg State junior Abby Murphy (19:16.25) would edge out Bridgewater State sophomore Nicole Major (19:20.84) to claim the individual title. MCLA's Kristie Zator would lead the Trailblazers with a time of 21:51.18.
