Golf Classic honors Dan Trombley and Nicole Westall, nets $33,000 for Athletics programs

Pittsfield, MA- The 23rd annual MCLA Golf Classic was held yesterday under sunny skies at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield, MA.  The event benefits the student-athletes and athletics programs at MCLA.  Following the golf tournament, a reception was held in honor of Dan Trombley '90 and Nicole Westall '92, both alums of the college.

The event was a tremendous success as it raised over $33,000 for the Athletics program.  96 golfers competed in the scramble format which also included long drive and closest to the pin competitions.

Trombley and Westall are both graduates from MCLA as both earned Business Administration degrees. Trombley served on the Foundation Board of Directors from 2009 to 2018, and while a director served as treasurer, vice-chair, and chair of the board. Trombley and Westall have been Foundation corporators since 2009. Their commitment to MCLA is evident in their leadership roles at the college where both donate their time and resources to help raise funds for student scholarships and other initiatives. The duo have also been strong supporters of the MCLA Golf Classic through Alton & Westall as sponsors and players. Trombley and Westall have positively impacted the Berkshire County community.
