Ryan Baker, Men's Soccer

Sociology/Criminal Justice

Ryan Baker served as a captain for the Men's Soccer program in 2015.  He was a key member of the defensive unit and has overcome a number of injuries throughout his career.  A local product from Pittsfield, Baker has become an active member of the campus community and is looking forward to earning his degree.

Here is why MCLA is the right place for Ryan Baker:

How do you feel about your division III experience in regards to helping you with future endeavors?

I feel that it has taught me leadership and discipline which are great characteristics to have in any career.

What are the extra curricular activities that you participate in?

I am a part of the MCLA judicial board, an active in intramurals outside of our season, and running soccer clinics for our local community with the Men's Soccer team.

Which academic/extra-curricular/community service project that you've been a part of has been the most rewarding? Why?
I believe the soccer clinics have been the most rewarding not only for me but for the students learning the game. Our team had a great time and the children learned a lot as well. It was great to pass down our knowledge of the game to a younger generation.
