Rachel Mills, Volleyball

Psychology Major
Minoring in Spanish and Business

Rachel Mills has been a two year starter for the Volleyball program and an active member of the campus community during her time at MCLA.  She helped lead the Trailblazers to the MASCAC regular season championship in 2015, the first in program history.  Mills is involved in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee among other things on campus.

Here is just a glimpse of why MCLA is so important to her:

Why did you choose to attend your institution?
I got recruited and after my overnight visit I felt emotionally compelled to come here.

Why did you choose to be a division III student-athlete?

I wanted to keep playing volleyball without putting my sport as a higher priority than my academics.

How do you feel about your division III experience in regards to helping you with future endeavors?
Being an athlete was the best choice I have made in this school. It set me up for success with the connections I immediately made along with getting my name known and also having such a wonderful, helpful coach who is so involved on campus.
