Bio

Ian Benoit was hired in September 2023 to assist the MCLA Baseball Program.

Prior to MCLA, Benoit served as assistant coach of the Pittsfield Post 68 legion baseball team. As an assistant, Benoit was primarily responsible for working with the pitching staff but also helped the hitters.

Benoit is a native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who played collegiately at the Division III level at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

As a Pittsfield High School student, Benoit, was an all Western Massachusetts selection his senior year when he was a pitcher and second baseman for the Generals baseball team.
