Trailblazers upended by Williams 95-60

Williamstown, MA- The MCLA Men's basketball team fell to Williams College 95-60 this evening in Williamstown.  The Trailblazers fall to 1-2 on the season heading into Tuesday game against ACP.  Jon Greenberg notched a double double in the setback, collecting 21 points and 12 rebounds.

MCLA opened the scoring on a Chris Harris three pointer for an early lead, but that was the only one of the night for the Trailblazers.  With the score tied at 15 apiece at the 12:00 minute mark, Williams would outscore MCLA 29-17 the remainder of the half for a 44-32 advantage.

The Ephs would keep the pressure up in the second half as Williams opened the stanza with a quick 8-2 burst to lead 52-34.  MCLA would trim the lead to 15 on a few occasions, but could not threaten the hosts the remainder of the way.

Williams was led by James Wang who would finish with 23 points, while James Klemm (14), Troy Whittington (13), and Nate Robertson (12) all finished in double figures.

For MCLA, Greenberg was joined in double figures by Jamal Brown with 12. 

MCLA will travel to Albany College of Pharmacy on Tuesday before hosting the Tri State Shootout over the weekend.
