ALBANY, N.Y. – The MCLA Men's Basketball team dropped their third straight game, falling at Russell Sage College, 76-56. Jaxen Potter recorded his first double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • MCLA stayed close to the hosts for most of the first half, staying within six to 11 points, and going to the locker room at the half down by eight thanks to a three-pointer by Colby Burleson in the final 10 seconds of the half.
  • After a three from Jake Bluestein with 11:29 on the second half clock got the Trailblazers within seven points, the Gators went on a 23-6 run over the next nine minutes to pull away for the victory.
  • MCLA's Jaxen Potter recorded the first double-double of his collegiate career, tying his career high with 10 points while also pulling down a career-high 12 rebounds.
  • The Gators had a trio of double-digit scorers, including Jackson Brown with a game-high 22 points, 19 points from Noah Girard, and Deavion Springsteen with 10 points.
  • Dylan Morris-Gray had a game-high five assists and contributed nine points in the loss.
