NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Senior guard Quentin Gittens (Pittsfield, Mass. / Taconic High School) has been named the MASCAC Player of the Week for the second week in a row. Westfield State's Juju Omot (Springfield, Mass. / Springfield Central) was named the Rookie of the Week.

Gittens averaged 29 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists while shooting 65.6 percent from the field in a 2-0 week for the Trailblazers. He scored 25 points on 11-for-17 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in an 82-60 MASCAC win over Worcester State and followed that up with a career-high 33 points on 10-for-15 shooting, along with 13 rebounds and four assists in another 67-52 road conference win at Fitchburg State.

Gittens and the Trailblazers are back in action Wednesday when they Welcome Westfield State for a MASCAC matchup with Owls. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM.
