Dunn's 7th place finish leads MCLA to best score of fall

Chicopee, MA- The MCLA Golf team recieved a strong performance from Taylor Dunn as the Trailblazers finished eighth in a strong field at the Elms College Invitational held at Westover Golf Course.  Elms took home the team title, while Castleton State's Zachary Temple shot an impressive 75 to earn top individual honors.

Dunn posted his best score of the season on the windy day over the 7,025 yard track.  He recorded a pair of birdies, going out in 40 and closing in 38 for his 78 to finish just three shots back of the leader.

MCLA's Mitch Mullett also had his best day of the fall shooting an 84.  He was followed by Cam Boraski's 85.

The Trailblazers 338 total was their strongest effort of the fall campaign.  They finished 8th among the 16 team field. 

MCLA will not compete for 10 days before they head to the NAC Championships on October 12-13.
