MCLA opens play at NEIGA Championships
NEIGA Individual Results- Day One
Brewster, MA- The MCLA Golf program opened their final match of the fall this afternoon in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association championships held at the Captains Course in Brewster, MA. The 36 hole championship will conclude tomorrow.
MCLA was paced by Taylor Dunn's 87. Padraig Dougherty was next with a first round 94. The Trailblazers are in 38th place in the event that features programs from Division I, Division II, and Division III.
Monte Mullen of Central Connecticut State is the individual leader after shooting a two under par 70. Patrick Donohue of Western New England is the top Division III golfer shooting an even par 72.
Husson is leading the Division III competition after shooting a 311 on Day one.
