Golf wraps up fall slate at NEIGA Championships

Brewster, MA- The MCLA Golf team wrapped up their fall season in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships this morning at the Captains Club Golf Course in Brewster. The Trailblazers finished in 22nd place in the championship.
Rhode Island College came back to win the team competition while Jonathon Cooper of the Anchormen was the medalist over the two day stretch.
MCLA was paced by Nick Young who shot a second round 85 to finish with a two day total of 167, which placed him 75th among the golfers in the field. Cooper Gavin was the next Trailblazer finishing with a total of 180.
MCLA will compete in the MASCAC Championships next spring but for the time being have completed their wrap around schedule.
