Cobleskill, NY- The MCLA golf team placed third this afternoon in the one day Cobleskill Invitational held at Cobleskill Country Club.  The Trailblazers shot a respectable score of 335 on the afternoon.

Host Cobleskill won the team title at 307.

MCLA was paced by senior Nate Gutmann and first year player Matt Lawrence.  Both players shot 82.  Gutmann had matching 41's for his total, while Lawrence shot a back nine score of 40 for his.

Other Trailblazers competing included Nick Bator (85) and Liam Nolan (86) respectively.

Cobleskill's Ian Wilson took top individual honors with a 73.

The Trailblazers are back in action next Thursday when they host the MCLA Invitational at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield.
