Gover Claims Medalist Honors in Dual Match with Albertus Magnus

HAMDEN, Conn.— Two-time reigning MASCAC Golfer of the Year Mat Gover picked up right where he left off in the fall shooting a +3, 73 to claim medalist honors this afternoon in MCLA's dual match with Albertus Magnus College at the New Haven Country Club.

Albertus Magnus took the team competition shooting a combined score of 307 while the MCLA finished with a 337. Four Falcons broke eighty including Nick Piselli and Sam Witt (76), Chace Hale (77) and Charles Kristofak (78).

Along with Gover, fellow Trailblazers Cody White (84), Paul Roeder (87), Addam Brunner (93) and Easton Moore (97) competed in today's event.

The MCLA Golf team is back in action on April 28th when they compete in Worcester State's Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational held at the Tatnuck Country Club.
