Haley selected as NAC Rookie of the Week
North Adams, MA--The North Atlantic Conference announced their weekly awards this afternoon. MCLA's Nathan Haley was tabbed as the conference's rookie of the week. He is joined on the weekly honor roll by SUNY Canton's Hunter Olson (Player of the Week) and SUNY Delhi's Nick Dower (Defensive Player of the Week).
Haley tallied ten goals and one assist in two league games last week. He scored four times and added an assist, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a win over SUNY Cobleskill, then delivered six goals along with two ground balls and a caused turnover in a loss to Husson.
It's the first honor in the career for Haley. He joins teammate Brady Larkin who was honored earlier this season as the defensive player of the week.
MCLA is scheduled to travel to NVU-Lyndon tomorrow as they continue NAC play.
